Great Range of Floorcoverings
Apart from being the only local manufacturer of semi- and fully-flexible vinyl floor tiles and sheeting, FloorworX (which is a member of the mammoth Accentuate Group), has a vast sales programme of quality resilient floorcoverings that includes linoleum, safety and static control flooring, luxury vinyl tiles, the Nora range of rubber floors, cushion vinyl, and sports flooring together with the full range of Quick-Step laminate floors.
Within this programme, FloorworX is the sole distributor of the extensive Forbo range of floorcoverings which represents the most comprehensive and eco-friendly linoleum floorcovering collection in the world.
Marketed under the brand name of Marmoleum, which was patented by Forbo over 150 years ago, the developments on this outstanding floorcovering continue with the introduction of Linoleum Global 3 to South Africa earlier this year.
As one of the most exciting developments for many years in this type of flooring, Linoleum Global 3 includes 11 structures from the Marmoleum, Artoleum and Walton ranges including two striking and imaginative new designs: Walton Cirrus and Artoleum Striato.
Global 3 is available in 160 colours throughout these 11 designs, which means more shades and tones at the designer’s disposal than ever before, offering endless combination options.
It also provides the largest selection of linoleum visuals ranging from plain-solid to non-organic and rhythmic harmonies, plus a spectacular and unrivalled increase in the choice of bright and neutral mid-tones.
In addition to Global 3 providing the designers with numerous opportunities for combining colours and structures, these options are further enhanced with a new and stylish range of service products that includes matching designer skirtings.

Multi-coloured (invisible) and non-soiling welding rods are also available to match each colour when a seamless finish is required, although uni-coloured welding rods are still available when a specific design or contrast is needed. Glow-in-the-dark Glow Weld is also available for design effects and is particularly suitable for the enhancement of safety precautions.
The developments within the vinyl sector of the FloorworX sales programme also form part of an ongoing programme to ensure that customers obtain the best in design trends and product durability.
These include the two polyurethane-protected vinyl ranges of Colorflor Plus PU and Eclipse PUR, which have become a firm favourite with local architects, interior designers and contractors because they are ideally suitable for heavy duty applications such as hospitals, schools, retail outlets, shopping malls and other heavy traffic areas.
Eclipse PUR is a durable, fully flexible, non-directional through-chip floorcovering that is provided with polyurethane reinforcement, available in both tile and sheet form in 28 different colours.
Colorflor Plus PU is a heavy duty, directional marbled sheet vinyl floorcovering with polyurethane protection that is also available in 22 selected colours, provided in rolls two metres wide and 20 metres long enabling a floor area of 40m from each roll.
The Eclipse PUR and Colorflor Plus PU ranges benefit from the factory-applied protection which helps the surface to resist damage from dirt, scuffing and marking. If a regular machine maintenance programme is adopted, these products do not require any application of polish.
Both of these ranges provide the designer with unlimited options for meeting any client requirement for custom-designed floors, made possible by use of computer controlled Aquajet cutting of the vinyl flooring to any pattern, logo or colour combination.
FloorworX offers a comprehensive technical advisory service all clients and design professionals, and has a fully equipped and operational training centre where contract staff can be trained in the correct installation procedures for every product in its extensive sales programme.
