RETRORISTIC

This theme is a reaction to the fast-paced techno world we live in and is certainly the opposite of moving forward.

As we are bombarded with media messages focused on the future of our country, our continent, the world in which we have to understand and embrace technology; we choose to also look back at the things and styles of the past.

We appreciate everything from old signage and graffiti, to retro lifestyles still in existence in various countries such as Cuba.

This trend pops with bright colour, yet is overlaid on a tactile base, which includes timber, stone and even brickwork. Products combine beautifully with concrete.

Retroristic is fun, amusing and aims to create sudden bursts of happiness and joyfulness.
